We’re extending our interim engagement

To ensure residents have enough time to respond to our current phase of interim engagement, we will be extending the final date by two weeks to Monday 22 June 2015.

Reasons for interim engagement

Between 20 November 2014 and 8 February 2015, we undertook a phase 1 consultation on the sites we are proposing to use to construct the Counters Creek storm relief sewer.

Due to feedback received during this consultation and changes in circumstances, we are now seeking feedback on some new and alternative sites, before the start of our phase 2 consultation.

Changes to our proposed scheme

We are now planning to drive the sewer from Cremorne Wharf, allowing barges to be used instead of HGVs to transport the majority of materials. New proposed sites will be announced for consultation.
